Abstract
The implementation of virtual field trips utilizing virtual reality (VR) in civil engineering (CE) education can facilitate the consolidation of abstract theories into tangible competencies. This study explores how VR can be used as a didactic tool by integrating discovery learning and situated cognition into CE training. The research involved capturing construction processes of a campus library using 360-degree cameras and processing the data into an interactive learning resource.
